The Old Stone Cottage at Panmure

On Tuesday afternoon Room Five, with our teacher, went on a mini trip to the stone cottage next to our  school. It was very old even inside was very old.

We excitedly met a old woman called Josephine and she told us all about the old stuff and old days. There were old clothes, toilets, beds, clocks, equipment and Pictures.  Their clothes were like dresses even the boys had to  wear dresses. I could count the number on the clock instead of one, two, three it was l,ll,lll.

Next we went to a room that had old things and there was a volcanic bomb from a volcano. There was sign that said there was tiny gold inside. It was very interesting that had to use candles instead of bulbs because they didn’t have electricity.

Finally when we came back outside I learnt that the stone cottage is just  the right place to learn old stuff.
