Rapid Raging Rugby League

WALT skills of rugby league.

Today the coach taught us how to do side step, goose step, and backwards spin.
Side step is when we have to step on the right side with our right foot and the left side with our left foot.
Goose step is when we walk slowly and we skip so we can rapidly run again.
Back ward spin is when we spin backwards and we also learnt that when we are holding the ball,we have to touch it with two hands and when we are scoring a try we have to put it down with two hands touching the ground                 

The Best Basketball Game Ever

Do you like playing basketball? On Saturday June I rushed to the Auckland Grammar School for a basketball game, my basketball teammates and coach Eric were there too and it was created to test our basketball skills. Did you know that the basketball team Mav’s has another name called Mavericks.

First when we were in the basketball game I felt really, really, really nervous because I thought we were going to have a low, low, low score. Did you know basketball is one of the fast sports.

At half time we got a long, long, long drink. I was really thirsty. Then at the end of the game we got 15 goals and the other team (sharks) got 10. We had won the game.  I was really happy.

Later when we were resting coach Eric shouted with the microphone ’’V, V,Vultures are going to the finals’’ my heart pumped with so much excitement that I had turned breathless.  On top of that I mentioned that my mum was proud of me too.

When we were in the final game one of our teammates Ethan got injured in the foot so we lost the game. I was filled with revenge and it was the worst time but my mum was filled with joy.

Being a good freind

Being respectful friends

It is good to be respectful friends because they can help you when you are indeed and injured.

We can be a good friend if we share our toys with each other and play respectfully fair. To have fun we will have lots of kind friends so we won't be lonely.

To be a good friend you should use your manners by saying kind words,be patient,treat them nicely and share with each other.

A good friend includes us to share our new friends and best friends to eachother.It is a good idea if we ask them to play with us.

It is a cool thing to be best friends because you will have fun,learn new games and come to each others house.Respectful friends are very caring each other, there even friendly,they look after us when we are injured.
